The World Economic Forum was founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, who remains the CEO. An invitation-only annual meeting is held in Davos, Switzerland (most recently in January 2023) and attracts the world’s foremost leaders (global elite) from business, academia, politics, science, religion, entertainment, and cultural organizations. “The Great Reset” was the theme for the 2021 event that focused on a global recovery plan beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. Many terms that fit the “never let a crisis go to waste” mantra were presented. “Urgent need,” the world is to be “improved” by “global stakeholders.” Professor Schwab himself explains “…we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.” The plan involves unelected Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) including the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Health Organization, World Trade Organization, and the World Economic Forum. The time frame for the Reset is for it to be in place by 2030 as mentioned in “Evolution of the Fundamental Transformation.”
Former Secretary of State John Kerry, a member of the Biden Administration and the ultimate elitist, considers the election of Joe Biden the acceptance of the “Great Reset” over the nationalist “America First” Trump philosophy. What is stated in the paragraph above is no conspiracy theory – they state their goals and expectations in plain sight. There is a WEF video from 2016 titled “8 predictions for the world in 2030.” They include “You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy” and “The US won’t be the world’s leading superpower.”
In order for the plan to be successful, Americans must give up or have taken from them individual liberty, individual choice, private property, and privacy rights. This ties right into the fundamental transformation to include rejection of the principles set forth in America’s Founding Documents. These God-given rights and freedoms will be exchanged for a slippery slope into socialism.
In modern times foreign invaders need not depend on military power. Consider that a virologist whistleblower who worked in a WHO lab claims that the Chinese government released the novel coronavirus “on purpose.” While the claim is disputed by her employer at the time, numerous reports over the past year have provided investigatory threads that could implicate the CCP and WHO. On March 4, 2021 an opinion piece was published in Newsweek magazine titled “Biden Must Expose China’s COVID-19 Cover-Up.” Great harm was done to the entire world, and the crisis cost President Trump reelection, an imperative of the globalists who oppose him for being a self-described nationalist.
Any attempt at fundamental transformation of the U.S. by foreigners is likely to be resisted. There is still enough “rugged individualism” in Americans to fight for their freedom, liberty, and property rights. However, as stated in “Threats to U.S. Economic Independence” COVID-19 lockdowns provided a measure of how easily citizens will trade freedom for security. Combining new citizens and the shrinking middle class with the permanent underclass portion of the Democrat base increases the number of poor and impoverished likely to accept ideas like “universal income” and be locked into the lower class – a modern day proletariat.
The 2030 Macro View
Ascending to a macro view of observable movements and events is the most effective way forward, and the point of time to consider is 2030. In addition to the World Economic Forum’s focus on that year, there is a group named “Project Everyone” that defines 17 “Global Goals for Sustainable Development” aimed toward creating “…a better world by 2030.” Among their sponsors are The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, numerous Silicon Valley heavyweights, multinational corporations, UN agencies, and various non-profits. The UN’s Global Goals by 2030 were updated in September 2020. In 2021 Climate Czar John Kerry stated “The scientists told us three years ago that we had 12 years to avert the worst consequences of the climate crisis. We are now three years gone, so we have nine years left.” Nine years forward – 2030. The meaning of “the scientists” links to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), created after the Paris Agreement of 2015. President Obama committed the U.S. to the Accord, Trump withdrew, and Biden recommitted.
The importance of religion in the U.S. was discussed in “Under Assault – First Amendment Freedom of Religion.” A globalist perspective envisions all peoples of the world existing within a single social construct – not necessarily a global government but a world in which all institutions are viewed in political and cultural frames of reference. The World Economic Forum defines itself as “…the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation” with no indication that either includes world religions. Project Everyone’s 17 goals don’t mention religion, though they have a clickable topic titled “Choose Life,” a phrase typically associated with abortion but in this case with climate action. It is safe to assume that NGOs support secular progressivism and religious liberty will not be a political or cultural priority.
An oft repeated meme during the COVID-19 pandemic is “follow the science” though this may not actually happen if conclusions don’t serve the ruling class. The CDC, WHO, Dr. Anthony Fauci, teachers unions and others have moved the goalposts when convenient. Is it reasonable to question climate change as “settled science?” Anyone who does is automatically labeled a “climate denier” or “flat earther” and is scorned. Is it possible that the science is not settled and the purpose is to pass laws and regulations in service to global elites, and convince citizens to give up their rights as happened during the COVID-19 emergency? If John Kerry is right about global emissions, is it reasonable for U.S. citizens to accept limits on freedom, economic malaise, a lower standard of living and shrinking middle class?
A June 2020 Pew Research study reported that among U.S. adults 24% felt global climate change is affecting their local community “a great deal” with 39% saying “some.” Concern has been growing in recent years, particularly among Democrats. However, Pew polled registered voters in August 2020 about important issues and climate change rated 11 out of 12 choices. These are the commoners – the unaffected elite don’t much value their opinion but do assume to know what is best for them, and will employ lockdowns for climate reasons or continue the Biden energy strategy that raises the cost of heating, driving, manufacturing, transportation of goods, and commodities.
